MALAYSIA DAY RUN/BIKE PHOTO

In conjunction with Malaysia Day on 16th Sept 2020, showcase your team's most patriotic theme run or bike in a photo. Post the photo in our Facebook group on 16th Sept 2020 ONLY. The organiser will pick the best photo. Use hashtag #TBVRMALAYSIADAY[team name]

RUN/BIKE YOUR CITY DAY.

On 27 Sept 2020, run in a city/town with your teammates. The organiser will provide a list of items which your team needs to take a photo. For example a photo of your State (Negeri) FLAG on a building etc. Then post all those photos in our Facebook group with hashtag #TBVRRUNYOURCITY[team name] or #TBVRBIKEYOURCITY[team name]. The list of items will be announced later.

TBVR ELEVATION CHALLENGE.

This is a day where your team will go for the elevation. Team members are to achieve team TOTAL elevation gain given in ONE DAY. There are 2 parts of this challenge.

TBVR ELEVATION CHALLENGE - GUNUNG MURUD

(The approximate distance from Telok Melano to Gunung Murud is 960km)

The team can start this challenge when your team Total distance above 960km. The team must achieve TOTAL elevation gain minimum 2400m for this challenge in ONE day

TBVR ELEVATION CHALLENGE - GUNUNG KINABALU

(The approximate distance from Telok Melano to Gunung Kinabalu is 1300km)

The team can start this challenge when your team Total distance above 1300km. The team must achieve TOTAL elevation gain minimum 4200m for this challenge in ONE day

Once you complete any on this challenge post your team member ID number and screenshot proof of elevation gain record in our Facebook group with hashtag #TBVRELEVATION[team name]

DESCRIPTION

All runners will do their run whenever they think convenient, outdoor, treadmill, trail (if allowed), with the Government Standard Order Protocol (SOP) applied. The team distance will be plotted onto a virtual map, starting from Teluk Melano, Sarawak to Kudat, Sabah. All teams can do as much as possible until the destination is reached or finished the distance no later than 30 days from the first day this event started, which is 1st September 2020. All teams' virtual routes will be plotted onto a virtual map every night daily.


Objectives

To raise fund for COVID-19 relief efforts by the following selected organizations:



Virtual route

From Teluk Melano in Sarawak to Kudat in Sabah

Virtual run/cycling

  • Solo and team up to max. of 6 teammates.

  • Team members will be doing their own running/cycling outdoors or indoor, at the place convenient to each runner/cyclist

  • Each member can do the run/cycling on their own, no mass gathering is necessary.

  • Social distancing will comply with Government Standard Order Protocol (SOP)

  • All teams will have 30 days to complete 1600km.

  • This is a charity event and no prizes will be provided, creating a run between the team or team members


Rules & Regulations

1. Team members can be from any running/cycling group/club, or intermediate group (provide team name).

2. Solo and team up to max. of 6 teammates

3. Each individual run/cycling must show a date, distance and duration.

4. Each individual member will have to compile all data and proof of run/cycle and submit via online form.

5. Team members can do their run/cycling wherever/whenever they preferred.

6. If any of the team members likes to do 2 running sessions in the same day, each session will need to be submitted.

7. Final results will be plotted to the map daily, to show the destination of each individual or team.

8. Any team members can run/cycling as much as they wish, every day.

9. No submission of run/cycling is necessary if zero (0) mileage for any day.

10. No minimum mileage needs to be done every day, team members can help each other to cover mileage to achieve the target 1600km in 30 days or less.

11. Runners need to do a proper run/walk, in the recreation park, treadmill, or anywhere they think convenient.

12. Indoor bike trainer with digital display panel are allowed to be the proof of the recording for cycling.

13. Indoor treadmill are allowed but the treadmill display panel is not allowed as the proof of recording for running (participants need to record their running activity using their watch on treadmill).

14. Wearing the watch/phone to record the distance while doing daily errands are not allowed.

15. Runners will need to obey the social distancing, complied with Government Standard Operation Protocol (SOP), while doing the run/walk/cycling at the park or the public area.
